On September 21, 2026, Mr. Hara Katsuhiko, Assistant Minister and Director-General for International Affairs at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Japan, led a MEXT delegation to the VNU-HUS Hoa Lac Campus. During the visit, the delegation toured the Research and Education (R&E) Lab, which was established through the support of the SATREPS project.
Assoc. Prof. Tran Dinh Trinh of the VNU University of Science (HUS), the Vietnamese project leader, presented an overview of the project and the laboratory. Following the presentation, Prof. Trinh guided the delegation on a tour of the facility and introduced its analytical equipment. Mr. Hara highly commended the bilateral collaboration and its valuable contributions to environmental monitoring in Vietnam.
