On November 5, a lecture on remote sensing was delivered by Prof. Wataru Takeuchi from the University of Tokyo at the Nguyen Trai Campus.
Approximately 80 students, including third-year undergraduates and graduate students majoring in geography and urban management, participated in the session.
The first half of the lecture covered macro- and micro-scale perspectives in remote sensing.
In the second half, the students were divided into eight groups to conduct hands-on field practice, measuring PM2.5 to PM10 levels at various locations on the HUS campus using a portable air pollution monitoring device.
