PI. Mawatari, Waseda University, delivered a special lecture to graduate students at Vietnam Japan University (VJU), presenting insights from the SATREPS project and an advanced microfluidic device for determining concentrations of arsenic (As), lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), and mercury (Hg). The lecture demonstrated the device’s potential for both industrial and household applications, especially in addressing emerging heavy metal contamination issues in Vietnam. A fruitful discussion followed regarding future education and research collaborations in analytical science and technology.
As HUS and VJU continue to work together as part of the VNU community, we look forward to even stronger collaboration in the future.

In addition to the students, three instructors: Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dinh Thang (Lecturer of EFTH), Dr. Vu Van In (Lecturer of EFTH), Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thị Hoang Ha (Coordinator, Lecturer of MCCD) participated.
