The first trial training was conducted over two days, April 10 and 11, at HUS (Nguyen Trai campus). Under Output 3, the project aims to “Establish and conduct certified environmental monitoring and analytical training courses for MAE/DAE* officers and related agencies”, with the expectation of improving the environment through the enhancement of analytical skills of government officials responsible for provincial environmental monitoring. As this was the first training session, a TOT (Training of Trainers) program was conducted with a total 27 participants, targeting university lecturers who are expected to serve as future instructors in the field of analytical chemistry. The training covered key instruments and was delivered by three Japanese companies: the Multi Water Quality Analyzer WQC40 by DKK-TOA, the Microplastic IR Analyzer by JASCO, and the Automatic Titrator by KEM.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Le Thanh Son, Vice Rector and Project Director, gave remarks on the significance of the training and shared his expectations for the project. Mr. Hidekatsu Tazawa, expert from Waseda University, provided an overview of the project.



The participants engaged in the two-day training with a proactive and enthusiastic attitude. The training also served as a valuable opportunity for networking among lecturers in the field of analytical chemistry in Hanoi.
