On November 18, 2025, the opening ceremony of the Analytical R & E Center was held at Vietnam National University Hanoi (VNU) – Hoa Lac Campus, with 160 participants from both Japan and Vietnam, including representatives from universities, companies, and government agencies.
In his remarks, VNU President Hoang Minh Son emphasized that the Center symbolizes VNU’s strategic vision to lead in advanced science and technology and to develop highly skilled human resources.
Ambassador Ito Naoki of Japan praised the Center as a new platform that strengthens Japan–Vietnam scientific cooperation and contributes to solving pressing environmental challenges.
The ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting, followed by demonstrations of analytical instruments developed through the project.
