On September 24, a coordination meeting was held with NCEM to discuss the training activities for provincial DAE officers under Output 3. Mr. Yamazaki (DKK-TOA), the Output Leader, presented the proposed training contents, including the hands-on practice to be conducted at the Analytical R&E Center, which is scheduled to open in November, followed by discussions with the participants.
On October 21, HORIBA Vietnam presented the current status and challenges of the monitoring stations, especially lack of regular maintenance practice at the site under Output 2 followed by an exchange with NCEM on possible solutions. After that, Mr. Tazawa (Waseda University) presented the prototype of the Low-cost Sensor (LCS) currently being developed under Output 5.
