On January 10, a meeting was held with the Bac Ninh Provincial DONRE, focusing on the explanation of Output 5.
Bac Ninh Province has been selected as the model province for the project, aiming to establish an environmental monitoring platform through collaboration with the project. This platform involves device development (Output 1), monitoring stations (Output 2), capacity building for DONRE staff (Output 3), and the enhancement of data analysis systems (Output 5).
As the model province, Bac Ninh is expected to play a key role in improving Vietnam’s environment by providing recommendations to the Vietnamese government and sharing its experiences with other provinces.
Under Output 5, environmental management is expected to benefit from higher-quality data that integrates traditional laboratory analysis with three additional sources: monitoring stations, low-cost sensors, and remote sensing.
